Biography

With over 20 years of experience in the wind energy sector, Circe holds a degree in Physics with a specialization in meteorology, complemented by a diploma in advanced studies in fluid mechanics. Her career began at Gamesa, focusing on site conditions assessment. In 2004, she joined legacy Garrad Hassan and has since dedicated herself/to various aspects of wind resource studies. Circe has played a pivotal role in significant transactions across Europe and LATAM, supporting customers in adapting to local and new requirements. Currently, she leads the Project Development and Analytics Section at DNV Iberia, Africa, Middle East, and Latin America, providing comprehensive energy assessments and related analyses to a diverse clientele. As an active member of the Global Service Line, she contributes to the development and implementation of global methodologies at DNV and is committed to driving innovation within the company. Her areas of expertise include site conditions studies, with extensive knowledge of the impact of relevant conditions on turbine loads, meteorology, and climatic trends in wind energy.
