Biography

Boris Fischer received the Dipl.-Ing. (FH) in electrical engineering from Mannheim University of Applied Sciences in 2002, the Dipl.-Ing. and the Dr.-Ing. in electrical engineering from Technische Universität Darmstadt in 2005 and 2009, respectively. From 2002 to 2004 he worked as an R&D engineer. Since 2010, he is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Control Engineering at Fraunhofer IEE in Kassel, Germany. He is active in the field of control systems for renewable energies with a special focus on wind turbine control.
