Biography

Ana Rita Silva is a Data Scientist in Innovation at Utopus Insights since 2021. She is also a Ph.D. Candidate in Sustainable Energy Systems (MIT Portugal Program) at FCUL, developing research work under the subject "TOWARDS NEAR 100% RENEWABLE POWER SYSTEMS: IMPROVING THE ROLE OF DISTRIBUTED ENERGY RESOURCES USING OPTIMIZATION MODELS". Ana Rita Silva holds an MSc degree in Energy and Environmental Engineering since 2016. She worked as a Research Fellow at LNEG from 2017 to 2021, participating in research projects (national and international) related to the integration of variable renewable energy in power systems and energy markets.
