Biography

Dr Sarinova Simandjuntak, FHEA, CEng, MIMarEST, DIC. My research and innovation (R&I) areas or interests are: in Design, Materials, Structural Integrity and Life Assessment of engineering structures/components including structural health monitoring with the use of sensors, and Risk Management. Some of my past and present industrial projects are the Horizon 2020 European Innovation Council (EIC) UFO project on SatCom integrated drone for navigation and data management, Future Flight Challenge UKRI-Innovate UK project on drone swarming for offshore wind farm inspection (Dr-SUIT), in the Energy Catalyst Innovate UK on the development of a WSN for corrosion detection and monitoring of offshore wind turbine structures (iWindCr), 2 KTPs funding with Magma Global Ltd on FE modelling for integrity tool development and on the development of a capability to diversify the company's innovative expertise in large composite structures.
