Biography

Tabea Hildebrand is working as a research associate at the Fraunhofer Institute for Energy Economics and Energy System Technology (IEE) in the wind resource characterization group. Her work focuses on scanning and nacelle lidars. She is especially interested in estimating and reducing uncertainties in lidar wind measurements for wind energy application. She studied civil engineering at the Technical University of Dresden. Through a project with the National Institute for Water and Atmospheric Research in New Zealand, she entered the field of renewable energies.
