Biography
Mr. Gerard Castro joined Vortex FdC as a data analyst and modeler after graduating in both Mathematics and Physics at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2016-2021). He is currently focused on its seasonal forecasting project, the aim of which is to provide accurate and skillfull monthly wind speed predictions up to 12 months for a given site. Moreover, he is starting in parallel his MSc in Mathematics and Computer Science applied to Data Science, at University of Barcelona. His research is mainly centered on ML/DL applications (and its trustworthiness) to model physical phenomena.Presentations
