Biography

Gordon has been working in the renewables industry since 1986, predominantly in wind but latterly in solar PV as well. He has been with DNV since 1993 and has been involved in a wide variety of renewables projects, involving research, advisory services and product development. Work has included control algorithms, control systems, measurements, communications and SCADA systems as well as analysis of operating plant and upgrades. Gordon has acted as an expert witness for claims regarding lost production. Prior to joining DNV Gordon worked for the Wind Energy Group. Gordon is a Chartered Engineer in the Institute of Engineering and Technology and was involved in the development of IEC 61400-25 standard.
