Researcher, DTU Wind Energy
Biography
Alexander's research focuses on deriving simple engineering models from computational fluid dynamics. He started his career at DTU Wind Energy in 2014 working as PhD fellow on the topic of wind turbine blockage. He co-authored the widely used SelfSimilar blockage model and keeps developing similar models in the engineering wind farm model PyWake. He furthermore investigates wind farm, rotor and aerofoil flows using Computational Fluid Dynamics and is currently employed as Researcher at DTU Wind Energy.Presentations
