Biography

Dr. Nicolas Bonfils is a Research Engineer with an expertise in numerical modeling applied to structural mechanics. He holds a PhD in computational mechanics from Ecole Centrale de Nantes. He worked as a mechanical engineer in the nuclear industry (EDF) for 8 years and joined the Solid Mechanics Department of IFPEN in 2019 where he works in the field of offshore/onshore wind turbine structural simulations and metamodeling analysis.
