Abstract

CLEARWIND is a large JIP with over 20 industry partners focused on the decommissioning of offshore wind farms. This is a unique initiative that was launched in March this year and is scheduled to conclude in April of next year. By October–November, several key work packages will have been completed, including analyses of regulatory and legal frameworks across the Greater North Sea region, as well as evaluations of both novel and conventional decommissioning methodologies and technologies.
