Biography
Education
He holds a Diploma in Industrial Technical Engineering, specializing in Electronics, and a Degree in Industrial Organization Engineering from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU).
Professional Experience
He began his career in 2001 at Eólicas de Euskadi, a joint venture between Iberdrola and the Basque Energy Agency (Ente Vasco de la Energía), as a Wind Resource Analyst. Over time, he progressed to become Head of Operations and Maintenance (O&M).
Following the full integration of Eólicas de Euskadi into Iberdrola in 2008, he assumed a series of leadership positions within Iberdrola Renewables' O&M organization. His responsibilities included serving as Head of Operations for Spain and International Markets (Europe, Mexico, and Brazil) and Head of Technical Services at Iberdrola Energía Sostenible España.
He currently serves as Regional Manager for Northern Spain at Iberdrola Energía Sostenible España, overseeing the operation and maintenance of one of the company's most significant renewable energy portfolios in Spain. His extensive experience spans renewable asset operations, technical services, international business management, and the strategic development of large-scale wind and solar generation fleets.
