Biography

Kamiel Jansen has over 15 years of experience conducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) for built environment and infrastructure projects. At TNO, he is responsible for executing prospective LCAs for long-lasting products and developing models to compare the sustainability performance of construction materials. In this capacity, he has conducted research comparing various wind turbine generators under different future scenarios. He is also a member of the Technical Advisory Committee of the Dutch National Environmental Database, where he provides expert guidance on environmental impact assessments and sustainable construction practices.
