Biography

Nils is an experienced Senior Executive in the energy and decommissioning industry with extensive international experience. Nils’ expertise includes onshore desert and offshore operations, strategy development, creating new and innovative strategic opportunities and building coalitions with senior leaders across a number of key stakeholders with an extensive network, in the UKCS and internationally related to Oil and Gas operations, decommissioning and Energy Transition.

Nils is now working as an advisor to several companies in the renewable energy (hydrogen and offshore wind) and oil and gas industries.

In this role he supports the development frameworks, approaches, solutions, and recommendations that effectively and efficiently address the most impactful opportunities and challenges related to energy transition operations and the associated technology systems. This includes developments for Floating Offshore Wind and production, distribution and fuelling station developments for hydrogen.

Within the Oil and Gas industry this is focussed on asset integrity, life extension, turn around management and brown field platform oil gas asset modifications and decommissioning and transferring this expertise to for example bio energy assets.
