Biography

Sherif is the Investment Director for Renewables at Arcadis, bringing 22 years of extensive experience across the energy sector. He has worked extensively on large-scale hydrocarbons and renewables projects, particularly those with challenging offshore technological requirements. Sherif's expertise spans both the investor and contractor perspectives, with a primary focus on de-risking through various project lifecycle phases. He has been instrumental in supporting M&A deals across the renewable spectrum, including offshore and onshore wind, Solar, BESS, and Energy-from-Waste (EfW), and is adept at developing robust business plans and financial models. He possesses hands-on experience across the entire offshore wind project supply chain, having supported major developments such as NNG, Hornsea 3 and SEAGREEN offshore the UK and Ajigasawa offshore Japan. Sherif holds a PhD in Numerical Analysis from Surrey University and an MBA from Imperial College. His focus is on optimizing Capex, Opex, and execution certainty.
