Biography

Petri Varvia received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in applied physics from the University of Eastern Finland, Kuopio, Finland, in 2013 and 2018, respectively. He is currently a post-doctoral project researcher with the Department of Technical Physics, University of Eastern Finland. His scholarly interests include statistical inference, Bayesian statistics, and remote sensing using various methodologies.
