Session 1 - Foyer
Capucine Vannoorenberghe and Edvin Lindgren, ETIPWind – R&I priorities for Sustainability and Circularity for 2025-2027
ETIPWind (the European Technology & Innovation Platform on wind energy) will soon publish its new Strategic R&I Agenda for 2025-2027. The document will inform EU and national policymakers about the most urgent R&I priorities that should be addressed to accelerate the development of wind energy in Europe. The session will focus on the R&I priorities that will help enhance sustainability and circularity of the wind energy supply chain. Join us to learn more!

Session 2 - Dock 9
TU Delft - the LICHEN-BLADES project
The LICHEN BLADES project revolves around an innovative wind turbine blades design. This blade’s circularity will improved by using bio-based materials in manufacturing, applying a nature-inspired erosion resistant coating to prolong lifespans, and by designing blades for new uses post-decommissioning. Routes to market will be explored, and circular business models will be developed to assess implementation in practice.

Presented by n Deniz Sayinbas, n Natalia Sofia Guevara Sotelo, n Israel Carrete, n Julia Smid.
