Biography

Rebecca Verhaeghe is a Project Manager for Blue Energy at POM West-Flanders (Belgium). She oversees the project management of key endeavors, including the Interreg project DecomTools and the ‘Belgium Builds Back’ project Ready4Decom. Additionally, Rebecca spearheads the ETF project OWiDEx, dedicated to fostering a unified vision on decommissioning in Belgium.

Her contributions extend to various European (Interreg) projects, where she is instrumental in fortifying collaborative ties between European countries. Her focus on strengthening partnerships among small and medium-sized enterprises in the offshore wind and green hydrogen industries is evident. Rebecca plays a role in facilitating access to essential test and demonstration facilities, and addressing workforce needs in the sector.
