The fight against climate change and the fight for gender equality have to go hand-in-hand. We won’t achieve a meaningful energy transition unless we tackle imbalances and make our sector as inclusive and representative as possible. Today women only make up 26% of wind industry workforce – we still have a long way to go. On International Women’s Day 2023, Malgosia Bartosik (WindEurope Deputy CEO) and Viktoriya Kerelska (WindEurope Director of Advocacy and Messaging) reflect on how far we’ve come, and how to empower women and girls through careers in wind energy.
