Plenary session 2: Uncertainty<\/h2>\r\n

SESSION DESCRIPTION<\/h3>\r\n

Uncertainty is an intrinsic aspect in both wind resources and site assessments. Understanding the different sources and contributions is key to mitigate and reduce associated risks. In this session, we will learn how different factors impact energy yield such us wind direction or the correlation of different uncertainty components. We will continue investigating how to deal with uncertainty when using synthetic time series or modelled power time series; and we will finalize exploring wind climate uncertainties and their relevance in loads assessments.<\/p>\r\n
