Are you eager to present your work and connect with your peers in Rotterdam at the WindEurope Technology Workshop in 2026? We are calling for abstracts on Resource Assessment & Analysis of Operating Wind Farms to shape the programme of this edition.<\/p>\r\n

Timeline<\/h2>\r\n

The deadline to submit your abstract is Friday, 30 January 2026<\/strong> (portal closes at 23:55 CET). The outcome of the call for abstracts will be communicated mid-March 2026.<\/p>\r\n

General requirements \u2013 for all topics<\/h2>\r\n
    \r\n
  • Innovative content<\/strong>: abstracts should contain new work, not yet published.<\/li>\r\n
  • No commercial content please<\/strong>: overtly commercial abstracts will be rejected.<\/li>\r\n
  • Contribution to industry knowledge<\/strong>: abstracts should strive to present data or results that can contribute to bringing the industry forward.<\/li>\r\n
  • The correct topic should be selected<\/strong> to ensure correct scoring. The content of the abstract must be topic related. It is the responsibility of the submitter to ensure that abstracts are submitted under the correct topic. The programme committee is aware that some of the topics might overlap with one and another, it will be taken into account when reviewing and during the build-up of the programme. In the meantime, please select the category that would be closer to your abstract.<\/li>\r\n
  • 500 words maximum per abstract<\/strong><\/li>\r\n <\/ul>\r\n \r\n

    Abstract selection process<\/h2>\r\n

    All abstracts will be anonymously peer-reviewed by a minimum of three experts of the field, providing for each abstract assigned to them:<\/p>\r\n

    \r\n
      \r\n
    • A numerical grade (0-5)<\/li>\r\n
    • A recommended presentation method<\/li>\r\n
    • A comment on the abstract<\/li>\r\n <\/ul>\r\n <\/section>\r\n

      After the review is completed, the Programme Committee members receive the overview of all scored abstracts. Based on the scores and the reviewers’ comments, the programme committee will draft session proposals and select which abstracts are eligible for an oral presentation in a session and which are eligible to produce a poster. These proposals are the base to determine the programme for the event.<\/p>\r\n

      For abstracts selected for an oral presentation, WindEurope is happy to offer the listed speaker the option to register with either a complimentary 1-day conference pass, or a discounted 2-day event pass. Poster presenters will be offered a discount to register.<\/p>\r\n
