Port of Ventspils (ice-free port, one of the leading deep-water ports of the EU) is the closest location for servicing offshore wind farms located at eastern Baltic Sea:
• ~100 ha territory for offshore wind farms construction, maintenance, and service;
• ~500 ha territory for industrial development projects;
• status of Special Economic Zone, tax incentives;
• part of the European TEN-T transport core network;
• handling of all types of liquid, dry bulk and general cargo.
One of the port’s key areas is the development of a renewable energy production and service community. We work to establish industrial energy community and hydrogen economy cluster (wind farm service, solar energy production, H2, e-methanol, green ammonia, biofuel, etc.).
We are looking for cooperation in the area of offshore wind energy developers at Baltic Sea, producers of components necessary for renewable energy production and hydrogen economy cluster and developers of services.
