Overview
Europe connected 30 MW (10 turbines) to the grid in the first half of 2022 in Italy. Construction of foundations and turbines activity took place at 7 wind farms in Europe. Two projects reached financial investment decision (FID) in the first half of 2022 which will finance two floating demonstrators in France for a total 60 MW. Europe’s offshore installed capacity is now 28.4 GW.
