Important update: EoLIS 2020 is now a fully online event<\/h3>\r\n

Due touncertainties related to travel restrictions, the EoLIS Seminar will now takeplace fully online. Not only will this enable more people to attend, it also opens the event to participants from all around the world. EoLIS 2020 will be a three-day event, from 18 to 20 November 2020. You can expect the same quality content and innovative networking opportunities. <\/p>\r\n

A significant share of Europe\u2019s wind turbine fleet will come to the end of its projected lifetime within the next 10 to 15 years.<\/h3> \r\n

In order to fulfill Europe\u2019s long-term decarbonisation agenda, the share of wind energy in the energy mix needs to grow further, and this outgoing generation capacity will have to be replaced. But this process is not as straightforward as it could seem.<\/p>\r\n

This year’s edition of WindEurope\u2019s End-of-Life Issues & Strategies (EoLIS)<\/strong> seminar brought together over 300 industry and academic experts<\/strong> to discuss the way forward. Our three-day programme looked at policy and permitting issues<\/strong> as well as technology challenges<\/strong>, with in-depth sessions on lifetime extension, repowering, digitalisation, decommissioning, sustainability and circularity.<\/p>\r\n\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n
