Note that a visa is not a work permit. <b>For work permits, refer to section below.<\/b><\/p>\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nyidanmark.dk\/de-DE\/Words-and-concepts\/US\/Visum\/Countries-with-a-visa-requirement-and-visa-free-countries\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"button smaller blue\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">List of countries and their VISA requirements<\/a>\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nyidanmark.dk\/de-DE\/You-want-to-apply\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"button smaller blue\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Read about Visa Requirements<\/a>\r\n<p><ul>\r\n<li>Ensure you have all required documents, including a valid passport, employment contracts, and documentation of education relevant to the job. <\/li>\r\n<li>For stand contractors and exhibitors, ensure you have the necessary work permits if you will be contributing to the company&#8217;s output in Denmark. <\/li>\r\n<li> An invitation letter will only be provided to registrants who have registered and paid the required registration fees.<\/li>\r\n<li>Registrants who need an official invitation letter in order to obtain a visa should ask this immediately after the registration process by visiting the Registration Guest Portal with the following information: registration number, first name, last name, birth date, passport number and passport expiry date.<\/li><\/ul><\/p>\r\n<\/section>\r\n\r\n<section class=\"inner\">\r\n<h2>Registration of non-Danish companies at the RUT<\/h2>\r\n<p>All non-Danish companies that will be performing work in Denmark, must notify the Register of Foreign Service Providers (RUT) about their work and services. They must register at the RUT.<\/p>\r\n<p> <b>This includes all stand contractors that are not based in Denmark.<\/b><\/p>\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/virk.dk\/myndigheder\/stat\/ERST\/selvbetjening\/Register_of_Foreign_Service_Providers_RUT\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" class=\"button smaller blue\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Access RUT<\/a>\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/windeurope.org\/annual2025\/wp-content\/uploads\/files\/exhibition\/UK-user_guide_for_registration_in_rut_incl_sector_code.pdf\" class=\"button smaller blue\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Follow instructions on how to register at RUT<\/a>\r\n\r\n<\/section>\r\n\r\n<section class=\"inner\">\r\n<h2>Danish work permit application for Temporary Events<\/h2>\r\n<p> <b>Necessary Documents:<\/b><\/p>\r\n<p><ul>\r\n<li>Ensure you have all required documents, including a valid passport, employment contracts, and documentation of education relevant to the job.<\/li>\r\n<li>Prior registration at the RUT is necessary to fill in the work permit application form.<\/li>\r\n<li>For stand contractors and exhibitors, ensure you have the necessary work permits if you will be contributing to the company\u2019s output in Denmark.<\/li>\r\n<li>Registrants who need an official invitation letter in order to obtain a visa should ask this immediately after the registration process by visiting the Registration Guest Portal with the following information: registration number, first name, last name, birth date, passport number and passport expiry date.<\/li>\r\n<li>An invitation letter will only be provided to registrants who have registered and paid the required registration fees.\r\n<\/li><\/ul><\/p>\r\n<\/section>\r\n\r\n<section class=\"inner\">\r\n<h2>Step 1: Apply for a Work Permit (if applicable)<\/h2>\r\n<p><ul>\r\n<li>Do you need work permit? What kind of job will you perform at the event? Read carefully the info about the work permit and step by step guide.<\/li>\r\n<li>If you need a work permit, apply through <b>the Pay Limit Scheme or the Supplementary Pay Limit Scheme.<\/b> <\/li>\r\n<li>Use the AR1 application form and follow the detailed instructions provided below.<\/li><\/p>\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/windeurope.org\/annual2025\/wp-content\/uploads\/files\/exhibition\/DK-work-permit.pdf\" class=\"button smaller blue\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Work Permit for events and step by step guide<\/a>\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/nyidanmark.dk\/de-DE\/You-want-to-apply\/Work\/Pay-limit-scheme\" class=\"button smaller blue\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Pay Limit Scheme info<\/a>\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vfsglobal.com\/Denmark\/UK\/pdf\/ar1_en_residence_permit_salaried_work.pdf\" class=\"button smaller blue\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">AR1 application form<\/a>\r\n<\/section>\r\n\r\n<section class=\"inner\">\r\n<h2>Step 2: Submit Your Application<\/h2>\r\n<p><ul>\r\n<li>Submit your visa and work permit applications well in advance, as processing times can vary. For example, processing times can be up to 15 days for China and India, and up to 45 days for the USA and UK. It might take even 3 months!<\/li>\r\n<li>Ensure all forms are correctly filled out and all required documents are attached.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul><\/p>\r\n<\/section>\r\n\r\n<section class=\"inner\">\r\n<h2>Step 3: Biometrics and Final Steps<\/h2>\r\n<p><ul>\r\n<li> Have your biometric features recorded at a Danish diplomatic mission or an application center.
