Visitors will get an up-close look at the surfboards crafted from decommissioned blades at the Waubra Wind Farm in Victoria, Australia. Designed and built locally, these high-performance boards, part of a pilot initiative, showcase how advanced composite materials from retired blades can be creatively reimagined for use in lifestyle and sports products, all the while promoting circular design.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n

Also on display are two footwear models from ACCIONA Energ\u00eda\u2019s collaboration with El Ganso. The first is the 2023 limited-edition sneaker, made with recycled blade material incorporated into the sole, marking the earliest crossovers between wind energy and fashion. Alongside it is the new sneaker prototype, created using blade material from the Tahivilla wind farm, a site currently being repowered by ACCIONA Energ\u00eda.<\/p>\r\n

Each of these products is proof of how blade recycling can move beyond industrial applications to become part of daily life, offering practical, high-quality solutions that connect consumers directly with the circular economy.
