WindEurope is heading to Bilbao for our Annual Event, on 20-22 March 2024<\/h3>\r\n

2024 promises to be a defining year for European politics. The EU elections are coming up in June. And a new Commission takes office in November. Wind energy will come under huge scrutiny as Governments weigh up the costs of the energy transition.<\/p>\r\n

It\u2019s time to prove our worth. Wind isn\u2019t just about fighting climate change. It\u2019s about jobs, innovation, sovereignty and much more. Wind is 350,000 jobs in Europe. And with 250 GW installed across the continent, it powers our factories, heats our homes, and sustains the livelihoods of millions of Europeans \u2013 with clean and homegrown power solutions.<\/p>\r\n

At this year’s conference, the focus is on driving home the value of wind \u2013 and what it represents for Europeans at home and abroad. Our conference will look at the net benefits of wind for five focus areas:<\/p>\r\n
